Does anyone have any tips or tricks for laying out a tile sheet for tiled? I am especially curious why there are often a strip of tiles to the left of a square set of tiles, usually these are bushes or diagonal tiles. I am unclear what the benefit of this kind of layout is.

thanks

Take a look at this tutorial, hopefully it answers your question:

well ultimately.. there is no right answer
I can only give you my own tips and best practices... maybe you have special cases where really you should not listen to me at all!

it is also possible to code your own "patterns" as well into tiled to unity, it's not hard and I can point you to where to change it if you ever want to.

one possibility is that i accidentally clicked the 'edit post' button by mistake (since i am a mod) instead of the reply button... that would explain it too..
