You need to create a forum where players can schedule games.
This way we can schedule games a few days in advance and (hopefully) have more players.

What i would like to see is some skype conference led by someone active, who could invite anyone who wants to play. Certainly not a good long-term solution, but it would help people find others to play with in real time without flloding the forums with "hello, anyone wanna play in the next few hours minutes?" messages.

I usually fish around for people on skype and fb when a game is about to go.

You gave me an idea though- I should probably have a chat lobby in the game. I am looking to see if this is feasible through node.js

I think I found a good solution. Let's see how it will work out.
Anyone who is down for a game, can hang out in this IRC Chat: http://chat.obeygame.com

typing someones name in the chat window will ping their browser.

Eventually I will also hook it into the game, so right below the server list it will join to the same chat so everyone can meet easily. Hopefully it will work, lets see.
