Possible Server ideas

Currently servers are all the same which while is correct takes away some of the customization that other games have. I have a list of some ideas that might be really cool for the server admin to have.

1. Score Sending: an admin should be able to either review the scores of old games or have them saved in order to keep track of how players are doing.

2. Optional modes:
2A: Roulette mode: the bunnies and robo can only buy a mystery item costing around 60-90 cents. They randomly purchase an item which is sometimes worth it and other times not worth it.
2B: Surprise Package: similar to Roulette but instead of the only item being a mystery item you can buy all others as usual mystery item priced at 50 so its a lower cost gamble
2C: EMP mode: Robosaru Inc. Is testing experimental weaponry close to the play area. occasionally (random or times) a wave of electromagnetic radiation sweeps over the field disabling all electronics for a short period of time. only reliable weapons are gun and flamethrower as the on-board targeting system for the missile can sometimes go awry.
2D: Storm: A thunderstorm randomly illuminates the play area when lightning strikes
2E: Shotgun: no longer machine gun but reloading shot gun (related: bullets arc down so robo can shoot around tricky walls)
2F: Battlefield: play area is right "after" another game. littered around the field are mines, fences, and lights so they can build upon what came before
2G: Arson mode: water is now oil when any of it is lit on fire it all gets lit on fire for a short period of time
2H: Camouflage: bunnies that stay still for 5 seconds become invisible to robo
2I: Enhanced HUD: robo can see who has made them the most money (assign a value for missiles,fuel,batteries,etc) so they can reward their top worker and/or punish the laziest
2J: logging operation: no foliage
2K: botanic gardens: extra foliage
2L: Trustworthy mode: when someone talks it doesn't show their name in the upper right to robo
2M: Bureaucracy: every time the someone buys something a message pops up to the robo blocking the screen in the center until they press ok
2N: Rations: bunnies can starve unless robo buys them food periodically. can buy food from dropship and can give out food
2O: Turncoat: a robo can pick ONE bunny to be his secret agent. secret agents gain 3x money so long as robo stays in power so they might actively work against other bunnies
2P: Overload: the feed box can only handle so much, if too many things are put in to fast feed box kills nearby bunnies and is disabled for a short time

3. Disabling: an admin can choose to disable certain items at the beginning of the game like having a robo game where collars don't work or a game where the robo will never have flame or missiles and has to rely on batteries

4. Troll mode option: instead of the current troll mode could also be that they play normally until they reach 10000. instead of winning now everything stops working correctly and they see that all the time that they spent being a troll is worthless because they can't win

5. Streamline the map choosing: this is because jackboot had to mess with map rotation which took a fair bit


So yeah basically just brain vomited all over this submission most of these ideas probably aren't that good but that's why they are ideas!

P.S. Pink bushes are no longer OP. now purple rocks are broken AF

Yea I have thought of something like this which could be cool...
except in OBEY it wouldn't be a storm, but a distant nuclear blast that lit up the world. :lol:

2F: Battlefield: play area is right "after" another game. littered around the field are mines, fences, and lights so they can build upon what came before

This can actually already be simulated by a mod if they use the /restart command just before the end of the round. If anyone tries this and likes it, I would consider adding it formally to the game.

2J: logging operation: no foliage
2K: botanic gardens: extra foliage

If sales are steady enough to buy the time to do it, I definitely want to have removable/addable foliage as part of the game. You can see this in the task list.

This is an interesting idea.. first time suggested. What would that do to the game if bunnies had 'upkeep' costs?

Yes this would be a nice to have feature where admins can enable/disable different items, or maybe set the prices.

Yes today definitely showed this is a problem.

Stuff like this is always good to read. Fresh ideas - keep them coming. Ration idea is the most interesting and new idea imo, though I want to meditate on it.
